Google Calendar has introduced a groundbreaking feature that enables professionals and freelancers to effortlessly offer their clients the option to schedule and pay for appointments.
This can be beneficial for professionals like therapists or teachers who offer services based on time.
The company has partnered with Stripe for the facility, so users will need to connect their Stripe account to Google Calendar to start accepting payments. Both users and admins of a workspace account are given the capability to establish their personal cancellation and refund policies according to their preferences. Google does not have any involvement in this process.

Google clarified that it is not imposing any platform fees on its users. Plus, the company doesn’t store or process any payment info — all that workload is handled by Stripe at the moment.
“Requiring payment upfront can help small business owners reduce no-shows and grow their business further. Additionally, this feature enables you to manage your time and payments in a simple and seamless manner,”
