To make Google Workspace more accessible to small business owners, Google has revealed its Workspace Individual plan in an additional 20 countries. This expansion is part of Google’s ongoing commitment to providing powerful productivity tools to individuals worldwide.
The announcement, shared by Google Workspace on Twitter, expressed excitement about bringing the benefits of Google Workspace to more small business owners. The Workspace Individual plan allows users to continue using their familiar @gmail.com email address while offering an array of features and 1 TB of storage across Gmail, Google Calendar, and Meet.
Priced at $9.99 per month in the United States, the Workspace Individual plan launched in five countries in 2021 and gradually extended its reach to Europe and Asia over the past year. With the addition of these 20 new markets, Google Workspace Individual is now available in 52 countries, significantly expanding its global footprint.
The plan’s benefits are extensive, with enhancements across multiple Google tools. For Google Meet, users can enjoy over 60 minutes of video calls, live meeting streaming on YouTube, noise cancellation, breakout rooms, hand raising, and polls. Gmail introduces a customizable layout for newsletters and brand announcements, multi-send functionality, and personalization tools. Google Calendar enables users to create appointment slots for services, easily share them via web and mobile, embed a booking page on their brand’s website, and explore other options.
Those interested in trying out the Workspace Individual plan can register for a 14-day trial on their accounts and choose between a pay-per-month or annual subscription model.
